rainy days

Calgary weather sucks, but I actually love the rain. It's one of those days where you stay in and read... I love it haha.
The show was GREAT, Fuzzy was such a superstar. We fixed a whole bunch of issues that had been progressing, and just being there was so phenomenal. Being back in the ring... it seemed like an eternity ago that I was in there last. He was excellent and we scored some good ribbons, so it was a definite success.

I hardly got to photograph while I was there, but what I did get turned out pretty nice. I'm thinking of setting up a website and stuff, even just for people in my barn to look at and buy stuff. Selling more publicly doesn't really entice me, to be honest. I take pictures because I enjoy it, and if I can make a little bit of money that's great, but I don't want to be out there so much... I don't know haha.

And there's this one ... thing ... that's making me SO mad. It's like a crushing force every time I so much as think about it. And I can't even tell anyone but my parents how much it bugs me, because it will surely reach the subject it relates to if I tell anyone else. I just hate it so, so much. Undeserving and spoiled and unappreciative play into it, I can tell you that much.

I've been riding since the age of seven, which means I've almost been riding for a decade. It's my life and I have loved every single second I've spent at the barn. Fuzzy is my one and only, and he has a home with me forever.

I took a few photography classes in grade seven, but it didn't become a passion until two years ago. I started with a Nikon Coolpix, moved up to a Olympus 500UPZ, which was a great camera to learn to ropes with. Now, I own a wonderful Rebel XSi that has really helped step my photography up to the next level.
